Ingredients ( Serves – 4 )
- Whole Wheat Flour – 2 Cups
- Sugar – 1/2 Cup
- Ghee – 4 Tablespoons
- Water – As Required
- Salt – 1/4 Teaspoon
Method
- Mix Whole Wheat Flour Salt And One Tablespoon Ghee In A Bowl.
- Add Water Gradually And Knead Into A Soft Smooth Dough.
- Cover The Dough And Let It Rest For Fifteen Minutes.
- Divide The Dough Into Four Equal Portions And Shape Into Balls.
- Roll One Ball Into A Small Circle And Place Two Tablespoons Sugar In The Center.
- Bring The Edges Together Seal Firmly And Flatten Gently.
- Roll Out Carefully Into A Medium Sized Paratha Taking Care The Sugar Does Not Spill Out.
- Heat A Tawa On Medium Flame And Place The Paratha On It.
- Cook For A Minute Then Flip And Apply Ghee On The Cooked Side.
- Flip Again Apply Ghee On The Other Side And Cook Until Golden Brown Spots Appear On Both Sides.
- Repeat The Process For The Remaining Dough Balls.
- Serve Hot.
